After almost two years of waiting, Samsung has presented its first PCIe 5.0 SSD for consumers, the 9100 Pro. This new device aims to effectively compete with other brands that have already launched their own PCIe 5.0 models, such as Crucial, Gigabyte, and Corsair.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Tested in 2024 as the PM9E1, the 9100 Pro offers significant improvements over the previous 990 Pro,<\/strong> virtually doubling the transfer speed thanks to the new PCIe 5.0 interface.<\/p>\n\n\n

The 9100 Pro promises sequential read speeds of up to 14,800 MB\/s and write speeds of up to 13,400 MB\/s,<\/strong> an increase of up to 99% compared to its predecessor.<\/p>\n\n\n
