And let&#8217;s not forget that Elon Musk stated that Canada is not even a real country.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The proposal has generated mixed reactions. But overall, people in Canada support the proposal, reflecting discontent with the trade policies of the United States. In fact, <strong>Canada has already taken actions similar to those of the United States, imposing tariffs on American electric vehicles following the start of the trade dispute.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Canada has a minimal production of electric vehicles (EV) and much of the current supply comes from the United States.
