Although the news might seem like a reason to celebrate for fans of the franchise, some voices within the community have expressed <strong>concern that all efforts will focus on this new project, leaving Space Marine 2 abandoned<\/strong> and without new content.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Committed to both parties<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, both Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment have responded to these concerns. <strong>In a statement published on Focus&#8217;s blog, they clarified that <em>Space Marine 3 does not mean the end of the development of Space Marine 2<\/em>.<\/strong> The company assured that no teams are being moved to the new project and that, in fact, they will continue to release additional content for the existing game.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the promised updates are new classes, operations, and melee weapons. These announcements come amid the anticipation for the upcoming major patch, known as patch 7 or the &#8220;Trygon update,&#8221; which will be released in April and will include a new Exfiltration map and a chapter pack that will add armor and weapon skins.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Space Marine 3 is still in its early stages of development and its release is not expected to happen for several years.<\/strong> Although Saber and Focus have not specified which team will be in charge of the new game, the information suggests that the creation could be the responsibility of a different group.
