Currently, iPad users are forced to run the iPhone version, resulting in a&nbsp;<strong>zoomed-in, awkward interface that fails to take advantage<\/strong>&nbsp;of the larger screen. Now, for the first time in over 15 years, Meta seems ready to change that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report suggests that&nbsp;<strong>Meta is looking to boost Instagram usage<\/strong>&nbsp;as it navigates a competitive social media landscape, especially with TikTok\u2019s future in the U.S. still uncertain. The addition of an iPad app could help bring more engagement, especially from users who rely on tablets for content creation and media consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instagram changes course after years of excuses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In past years, Instagram leadership often downplayed the need for an iPad version. In 2021, Instagram head Adam Mosseri admitted that it &#8220;would be nice,&#8221; but not a priority.&nbsp;<strong>The justification was always the same: not enough users, not enough resources<\/strong>. Yet the demand never faded, and now it seems the company is finally responding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s no official launch date yet, and no guarantee the app won\u2019t be delayed or even canceled.
