According to the trailer, a group of young people seemingly left their homes at 2:17 a.m., for no apparent reason, leaving only one member of their class behind. This mysterious event transforms the life of the community.

A movie that promises to be too much for those with children

The advance offers an intriguing glimpse into the triggering event, with the voiceover of a detective trying to clarify the inexplicable situation. The atmosphere of the trailer is heightened by unsettling images of an alarm clock set to 2:17 a.m., camera movement from an empty bedroom to the open front door, and clips of the young people running around in an empty neighborhood. Undoubtedly, these elements contribute to an effective horror atmosphere.

A highlighted aspect of Weapons’ marketing is the movie’s website, Maybrook Missing, which has gained viral relevance by listing cases of missing children and documenting the shock that has shaken the community. This adds an additional layer of horror, immersing the audience in the mystery from the very first moment.

Cregger’s work presents a link to his previous film, Barbarian, echoing a similar character and context, which could lead to speculation about the connection between the two stories. Weapons features a notable cast that includes Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, and other recognized actors, significantly increasing its appeal. The film will be released in theaters on August 8.

        Max
        DOWNLOAD

        <text class="rating-score__number" content="" text-anchor="middle" transform="matrix(1 0 0 1 25 31.0837)" data-auto="app-user-score"></text>

The first trailer for the horror movie Weapons, directed by Zach Cregger —director of Barbarian and who will also direct the upcoming Resident Evil movie— has been released, setting an ominous tone that promises to keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
