This option, which can be activated from the console&#8217;s menu, aims to mitigate battery degradation over time, a growing concern among users and manufacturers of electronic devices.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A way to preserve battery integrity in the long term<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Although it may seem illogical to restrict a device&#8217;s charge to less than 100%, studies conducted by various technology companies have shown that keeping battery charge between 20% and 80% is optimal for prolonging its lifespan. <strong>Charging the battery to the top can, in the long run, reduce its maximum capacity and negatively affect its performance<\/strong>.
