Through missions and objectives assigned by these houses, player guilds can influence the votes, supporting one of the two competing major houses.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Players decide the rules of the game&#8230; by force<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The result of these votes determines which of the houses, Atreides or Harkonnen, will control the game world for the week. <strong>The leaders of the guilds that support the winning faction will be able to vote on decrees that provide significant competitive advantages<\/strong>. For example, reductions of 75% in repair costs and refining times have been mentioned, as well as exclusive access to tools and weaponry for the victorious faction.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Dune: Awakening - Official Story Trailer\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ocMIndtODi4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>Additionally, <strong>there is a decree known as The Right of Salvage, which can intensify the tension in the game, as it implies that players who die in PvP will lose all their gear<\/strong>.
