""Yet another Angry Birds spinoff has been released today in the form of Angry Birds Star Wars. The new game sees the Angry Birds go head-to-head with some of the characters from George Lucas’ sci-fi masterpiece. However, here at Softonic, we thought we could do better than that so we put our heads together to discuss what kind of Angry Bird film spin-offs we’d like to see in the future. We tried to cover a range of genres and here’s what we came up with.

Angry Birds – Pigbusters

The city of New Pork has been overrun by ghostly pig ghouls and goblins. Who ya gonna call to save your bacon? Pigbusters, of course. Starring Eagle Spangler, Rayven Stantz and Partridge Venkman, The Angry Birds take on the phantom hogs to rid the city of pigtoplasm.

""

Angry Birds – The Godfeather

Vito Crowleone is the most powerful Mafia leader in the city of New Pork but his family is sucked into a dirty battle of pig families to see who will be the king pig. Which pig will wake up to find a chicken’s head in his bed? You must go through the bins of New Pork and make Crowleone an offer he can’t refuse.

""

Angry Birds – You’ve Got Quail

It started with a tweet. Two birds fall in love over Twitter except there’s one problem – one of them is actually a pig. In You’ve Got Quail, the dangers of internet romance become all too apparent as the two star-crossed lovers embark on a roller coaster love affair which either ends in the tiny twitter-patter of tiny trotters or flying on the wings of love all the way to the perch.

""

Angry Birds – Lord of the Wings

The Angry Birds have had their wings clipped and are stuck on Middle Earth. What’s worse, a stinking pig has stolen the hallowed ring for its nose. You play the role of Dodo Baggins whose role it is to capture the evil pig and regain the precious ring from the pig’s dirty snout.

""

Angry Birds – One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest

Jackdaw Nicholson is depressed because Bad Piggies have stolen his eggs and condemned him to life on a pig farm. Can you manage to retrieve all your eggs and escape the madness or will you make a pig’s ear of things and end up a-trough-ying your life away on the crazy farm?

""These are the five Angry Bird film spinoffs that made our toplist. Other ideas that fell on the cutting room floor were Roast (Ghost), Bacon Instinct, 9-And-a-Half Beaks, Twitty Woman, Top Gull, Apocalypse Sow, Gone with the Wings, Beatlegoose, Rind Date, Heron Brockovich and of course Hairy Trotter and the The Philosopher’s Egg.

Let us know if you’ve got any suggestions of your own for Rovio’s next Angry Birds release.
