If you’re having problems surfing the Web with Firefox for Mac<\/strong><\/a> then quite often, it can be solved by simply clearing the cache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Web pages, temporary content, cookies, and other files are stored in Firefox’s cache to make surfing the net quicker and more convenient. However, sometimes a file stored in the cache can suddenly start causing problems such as loading pages incorrectly, login problems, Firefox crashes, etc. If you are experiencing such problems, clearing the cache is always worth trying before anything else. Here’s how to clear the cache in Firefox for Mac:<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Find your Preferences<\/h2>\"\"

    In the top left-hand corner of Firefox for Mac, select Preferences<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>

  2. Enter in Advanced tab<\/h2>\"\"

    The cache is located in a bit of a strange location which is why some people have a problem finding it. Go to the Advanced Tab<\/strong> and select Network<\/strong>. Then just click Clear Now<\/strong>. There may be a slight pause while it’s being emptied if your cache is particularly large and has never been emptied.<\/p>\n
