IMDb describes the film as a “sinister anniversary trip to a remote cabin” that turns into a confrontation with the unknown. With this release, Perkins aims to return to his stylistic roots in the horror genre, which has led many to anticipate a disturbing cinematic experience.

After the success of his 2024 film, Longlegs, which stood out for Nicolas Cage’s peculiar performance, and his work in The Monkey that took a darkly comedic approach, Keeper seems to be a return to his more stylized supernatural stories.
