Wizards of the Coast has announced a significant change in its release plans for the new limited card line, Secret Lair x Monster Hunter, initially scheduled for December 1 of this year. The company has decided to postpone the sale until 2026 as a result of the negative reaction from fans following the initial announcement of this collaboration with Capcom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They want to bring out the best possible version of it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In a recent post on the official Magic: The Gathering blog<\/a>, WotC admitted that the initial proposal did not meet fan expectations<\/a>, acknowledging that there were mistakes that needed rectification. Among the main criticisms was the notable absence of Equipment cards<\/a>, a crucial element in the Monster Hunter universe, as well as a typographical error on the “Kokoto” card.<\/strong> “We have heard and understood that you were disappointed, and we believe we can do better,” they stated in the announcement, announcing a complete ‘rework’ of the collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
