The upcoming Helldivers 2 update, titled Machinery of Oppression, promises to radically change the gameplay experience by introducing the Battle for Cyberstan. This new chapter will pit players against oppressive cyborgs who have taken control of this key territory<\/strong>. The uniqueness of this update lies in the fact that the outcome of the battle will depend on the collective action of the players, who will need to liberate territories and, in doing so, directly influence the game’s narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n

According to the game director, Mikael Eriksson, Machinery of Oppression is the most ambitious update to date. The mechanics will involve a new type of meta gameplay that will allow players to better understand the consequences of their actions. This means that, for the first time, the outcomes of the Battle for Cyberstan are neither predictable nor determined by the developers<\/strong>. Eriksson notes: Players can win or lose, and it will be very fun to see how this unfolds.<\/p>\n\n\n
