King believes that this movie is unjustly undervalued, <strong>despite receiving only 11% positive ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, becoming the subject of criticism and unfavorable comments from the public.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A misunderstood gem according to the author<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cell narrates how signals transmitted through mobile phones transform most of humanity into fierce, bloodthirsty creatures. <strong>Although the premise aligned with King&#8217;s talent for exploring terror in everyday life, the adaptation failed to connect with the audience<\/strong>. For example, in the past, <strong>King expressed a preference for the 1997 miniseries of The Shining, despite the fact that Stanley Kubrick&#8217;s film adaptation is acclaimed as a classic<\/strong>.
