Meanwhile, in the realm of animation, Matt Selman, showrunner of The Simpsons, has confirmed that the series will not have a formal ending<\/a>. In statements to The Wrap, Selman noted that any conclusion reached will simply be a regular episode, a concept that was reflected in the episode Bart’s Birthday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf the show ever ends, there will be no ending; it would be a regular episode that has the family in it,\u201d Selman explained<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the recent renewal of the series for its 40th season and after concluding season 37,<\/a> Selman added that there are several Disney Plus specials planned for this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
