Additionally, the Oscar-winning animation studio ShadowMachine is working on the conceptual art for the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The creator of Firefly, Joss Whedon, has given his approval to the project, although he will not participate in it. <strong>The news of Firefly: Still Flyin came just after it was confirmed that <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/the-reboot-of-one-of-the-most-beloved-medical-comedies-in-history-is-receiving-amazing-reviews\">another series based on Whedon&#8217;s work<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/everything-we-know-about-the-return-of-the-reboot-of-the-most-popular-vampire-series-of-the-00s\">a new installment of Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/a>, was not picked up by Hulu, which has generated even more interest in the new effort to revive Firefly.
