Which series would you say has been the most-watched Netflix series so far this year? Stranger Things: Tales from ’85? Something terrible is about to happen? One Piece? None of that: as they have just revealed, with 25.6 million views according to Nielsen, the honor goes to Him and Her. If it doesn’t ring a bell, don’t worry, it’s normal: I talk about film and television, and perhaps due to the flood of content that arrives each week, I had absolutely no idea about it.

There is a bit of a catch, though, because the meter only rates the first three and a half months of the year, leaving Marshals (the new addition to the Yellowstone universe) in second place among all streaming services, closely followed with 25.24 million, followed by Landman, The Bridgertons, Tracker, and High Potential.

In total, in the top 20 we have only 3 Netflix series: the surprise winner is Paramount+, with half of the list, followed by Hulu (3 series) and HBO Max (2). The big loser is Amazon Prime Video, which has only managed to sneak Fallout into the 8th position. If you have been living under a rock (like I apparently have), you might be wondering what the hell He and She is and if you should start watching it immediately.
