Six are not surprising, as there had already been announcements about them, namely Devil May Cry, Mega Man, Dead Rising, Onimusha, Dragon&#8217;s Dogma, and Okami. But the surprising part is that the seventh is Ace Attorney.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ace Attorney the future of Capcom<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ace Attorney is a series of visual novels that began its publication on Game Boy Advance in 2001 and has had six main games, as well as multiple spinoffs, based on acting in trials, searching for clues, and confronting rival prosecutors. <strong>The franchise, tremendously popular both in the West and in Japan, has not had a new installment since Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney \u2212 Spirit of Justice, released in 2016 and which never came out in Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy - Launch Trailer - Nintendo Switch\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QY7EDGd_B50?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That doesn&#8217;t mean the franchise has been forgotten. The last game in the franchise, a spinoff, was The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve, which never left Japan, in 2017. <strong>And since then they have released numerous ports and remasters, in addition to huge amounts of merchandise, with great success<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With 2026 marking ten years since the last main title of the franchise, many fans are hoping that Capcom will announce Phoenix Wright 7 this year. <strong>Something that seems to be bolstered by the fact that it is one of the central pieces of Capcom&#8217;s strategy, which will focus, in their own words<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Stealth40k\/status\/2054474350233841816\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">on &#8220;new IPs, ports, remakes, remasters, and new installments of well-known franchises&#8221;<\/a>. So there is hope for a new Phoenix Wright.
