The headline addition is Sandrone, the seventh of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, joining the game as a 5-star Cryo character<\/strong>. Citlali and Charlotte are both getting new skins. Fontaine, meanwhile, gets the usual limited-time summer story content and event activities.<\/p>\n\n

Luna VIII adds a moon-themed explorable map tied to a Columbina world quest<\/strong>. That alone makes the update feel like more than a routine in-between patch. It reads like setup for Version 7.0 and Snezhnaya, not throwaway filler.<\/p>\n\n

The official teasers point in another direction too: the possible start of the new Stellar<\/strong> reaction system. Stellar-Conduct, a Cryo-Electro reaction linked to Sandrone, is already setting off the usual theorycrafter debate over new team comps, possible power creep, and whether older characters might start feeling less viable.<\/p>\n\n

If you follow Genshin Impact<\/a><\/strong> for the Fatui story, or just care about the meta, this looks like an update worth grabbing. Even more so when you look at the scale of the game right now. By mid-2025, Genshin Impact had already passed 300 million registered accounts, and it’s still projected to clear $10 billion in lifetime player spending by the end of 2025.
