Google Calendar<\/a> picked up a genuinely handy update on June 17, 2026<\/strong>. It now supports more than 200 event colors<\/a>, with 24 default options plus custom shades on the web, Google says.<\/p>\n\n\n

Previously, the palette stopped at 11 colors<\/strong>. Now there are 24 built in, and on the web version of Google Calendar<\/a> you can go further with an RGB picker, which means you can make just about any shade you want for work, personal plans, family schedules, or separate projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is one catch: you can only create those custom colors on the web. The Google Calendar mobile app still tops out at the 24 default choices<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
