You’ll be threading precise driving lines, hitting your marks, chaining stunts together, and pulling off dangerous maneuvers right on cue.

The bigger shift is in the kind of productions the game draws from. Saber Interactive and Universal are moving away from the old spoof-style setups and leaning into recognizable names like Back to the Future, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, and Fast & Furious. Tim Willits has also hinted at a “super cool” callback to a major Fast & Furious sequence that sounds a whole lot like the Lykan HyperSport skyscraper jump from Furious 7, even if he says it’s “not exactly the stunt.”

People who’ve played it early keep coming back to the same description: Stuntman: Hollywood feels like an arcade-style game that’s easy to get into, but much harder to truly master. That helps explain why the game came out of Summer Game Fest 2026 with such positive buzz. The real question, though, is whether those licensed settings actually make the stunt challenges better, or just more familiar.

If you’ve got a soft spot for cult-classic driving games and big, over-the-top movie car action, this one’s worth watching. You just won’t be playing it yet. Stuntman: Hollywood made its debut during Sony’s June 2026 State of Play, and Saber Interactive still hasn’t announced a release date.

After nearly 20 years on the shelf, the Stuntman series is back.
