If this is the first time Widow’s Bay has landed on your radar, it’s also pretty easy to see why some gamers have compared its fog-soaked, cursed-town mood to Silent Hill, even if the show is much more interested in a fraying community and dark comedy than in full-on survival horror.

If you’re the kind of Apple TV+ viewer who goes looking for stranger, slightly off-kilter genre shows, Widow’s Bay is absolutely worth a look.
