At SpaceCon, Famke Janssen said she won\u2019t be in Marvel Studios\u2019 Avengers: Doomsday<\/em>, which hits theaters on May 1, 2026<\/strong>. Janssen, who played Jean Grey in 20th Century Fox\u2019s X-Men<\/em> films, said Marvel never contacted her about appearing in the movie. Her reaction was blunt: \u201cI think they made a mistake, but who am I?\u201d That line has already gotten people talking, especially with Marvel bringing more actors back from Fox\u2019s X-Men<\/em> run.<\/p>\n

Avengers: Doomsday<\/em> arrives on May 1, 2026<\/strong>, and it already looks like one of the biggest multiverse entries in Phase Six. Marvel Studios has confirmed appearances from Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, and Kelsey Grammer.<\/p>\n\n

Which makes Janssen\u2019s absence stand out<\/strong> even more. Her Jean Grey was central to Fox\u2019s original X-Men<\/em> movies, especially once the Phoenix story came into play. For a lot of fans, she\u2019s the most obvious piece missing from that reunion.<\/p>\n\n
