Google has brought Gemini Flows into Gmail<\/a><\/strong>, giving paid Google Workspace and Google Gemini subscribers a no-code way to automate their inbox with plain-English prompts.<\/p>\n

Inside Gmail, those prompts can turn into workflows that sort incoming messages<\/strong>, pull out key details, save attachments to Google Drive<\/a>, create follow-up tasks, summarize emails, and kick off actions in Google Chat<\/a>, Google Docs, and Google Meet.<\/p>\n\n

If most of your work already happens inside Google\u2019s ecosystem, Gemini Flows<\/strong> feels like Google\u2019s built-in answer to tools like Zapier<\/a> or Make<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

For bigger automations that need to connect several different systems, though, Gemini Flows looks like a better match<\/strong> for personal productivity or internal team workflows.<\/p>\n\n

You can still draft emails in Google Workspace Studio, but Google\u2019s current Workspace tools<\/strong> won\u2019t send them automatically.<\/p>\n\n

If your email load is on the lighter side<\/strong>, this update might be worth paying attention to.<\/p>\n\n

One thing to watch is the limit<\/strong>. It\u2019s based on monthly flow runs, not the number of emails: Google says you get up to 2,000 runs on higher tiers, about 400 on standard Business plans, and 100 on Business Starter.<\/p>\n\n

So freelancers, recruiters, support agents, or anyone else dealing with hundreds of messages a week<\/strong> could hit that cap pretty fast.<\/p>\n\n
