At EVO 2026, Gameplay Group International and PM Studios pulled back the curtain on most of the Year 1 DLC for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game<\/a>, their 1-on-1 2D fighter<\/a>. Iroh, Ty Lee, Lin Beifong, and Bolin are all confirmed for post-launch, joining the game after the 12-character base roster<\/strong> is already in place.<\/p>\n

The game launches digitally on July 23, 2026<\/strong> for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam<\/a>. Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are still on the way later in 2026.<\/p>\n\n

There\u2019s also a fifth Year 1 DLC fighter tied to pre-orders, and that one\u2019s being left up to a community vote<\/strong>. The choices are Amon, Kuvira, King Bumi, Asami, and Tenzin.<\/p>\n\n

Year 1 is being divided right down the middle between Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

So if you\u2019re planning to pick it up digitally, July 23, 2026<\/strong> is the date to watch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Switch and Switch 2 players will have to wait a little longer, with those versions scheduled for later in 2026.<\/p>\n\n

Pre-ordering also gets you into a closed beta running from July 2 through July 5, 2026<\/strong>, along with cosmetic bonuses. Full cross-play will be there at launch too.<\/p>\n\n
