Guarma is showing up again on PC. A new wave of Red Dead Redemption 2<\/a> mods is turning the tropical island from Chapter 5 into a place you can actually spend time in, not just pass through.<\/p>\n

In Rockstar Games’ original release, you only see Guarma for a short stretch in Chapter 5, and under normal conditions you can’t go back. For a lot of players, that made it feel like one of the game’s biggest missed opportunities. Projects like Guarma – The Hidden Paradise are trying to fix that. According to the mod’s description on Nexus Mods<\/a>, it adds new map details<\/strong>, extra locations, strangers, five treasure sites, and restored cut content, including the Monastery Crypt and Dr. Higgins.<\/p>\n\n

And that’s only one piece of it. The Aftermath of Guarma adds a larger port, a larger village<\/strong>, and more lore. Guarma Expanded – Added Small Locations brings in a pirate shipwreck, a rebel cemetery, a hunter settlement, and a moonshiner operation. The Beta Guarma Restoration Project focuses on pre-release reconstructions, while Trelawny’s Travel<\/a> goes in a more playful direction with hot air balloon rides and swimming with sea turtles, according to those mods’ descriptions on Nexus Mods.<\/p>\n\n

If you play Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC, these mods are easy to recommend. They turn what was once a one-chapter detour<\/strong> into a believable place with its own identity. They also make it pretty clear how much of Guarma Rockstar Games barely touched. Console glitches are still an option, but they’re a less stable workaround and they don’t come with any of this added content.<\/p>\n\n
