There\u2019s also a $200 statement credit if you spend $2,000 in the first 90 days. No annual fee, either, according to Samsung.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Samsung is putting its own ecosystem front and center here, so if you already spend money on Galaxy phones, tablets, wearables, or accessories on a regular basis, this looks like a card that\u2019s probably worth picking up.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The more interesting part is Samsung Wallet. Samsung says you\u2019ll be able to apply for the Samsung Galaxy Card, manage it, and use it directly on Galaxy devices, and that <strong>3% rate<\/strong> on Samsung Wallet transactions gives people a real reason to choose Samsung\u2019s payment system over competing options. Barclays is issuing the Samsung Galaxy Card on the Visa network, Samsung says, which should let the company scale fast without having to build the banking infrastructure on its own.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is Samsung\u2019s answer to Apple Card, though right now it comes off more like a loyalty perk than a true mass-market card, especially since <strong>APR details<\/strong> , privacy, and long-term competitiveness are still unclear.
