Prime Video<\/a> has set Neagley for September 16, 2026. The Reacher<\/strong> spinoff puts Maria Sten front and center as Frances Neagley, and showrunner Nick Santora says it breaks pretty cleanly from the usual Reacher setup.<\/p>\n

The big change is structural. Neagley<\/strong> drops the lone-drifter reset that defines Reacher, keeping Frances Neagley in Chicago and surrounding her with a recurring ensemble instead of giving her a mostly new cast every season. That should leave more room for deeper relationships, longer story arcs, and a rhythm that feels steadier and more grounded.<\/p>\n\n

Here, Neagley is working as a private investigator when a friend dies under suspicious circumstances. That sends her looking for the truth, and for justice. All eight episodes<\/strong> will land on the same day, lining up with the Reacher season 4 finale and marking a switch to a binge release after Reacher\u2019s more recent weekly rollout.<\/p>\n\n

If you\u2019re into Reacher<\/strong> but want something tighter and more self-contained, Neagley has a lot going for it. Early reaction, though, is mixed. There\u2019s genuine interest in seeing Maria Sten carry the series, and in Frances Neagley\u2019s more methodical way of operating. But there\u2019s also some concern that the suspicious-death hook could slide back into familiar revenge territory.<\/p>\n\n

Alan Ritchson is set to guest star as Jack Reacher<\/strong>. Greyston Holt, Jasper Jones, Adeline Rudolph, Matthew Del Negro, and Damon Herriman round out the regular cast, and production reportedly ran from February to June 2025.<\/p>\n\n
