The draw isn\u2019t hard to figure out. These self-contained thrillers give viewers a full story, a proper ending, and a binge you can knock out in a weekend. On streaming, Netflix\u2019s mystery miniseries usually land better than open-ended dramas because they feel like long movies, just sliced into cliffhanger-heavy episodes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The range is widening, too. Netflix has glossy whodunnits like Nicole Kidman\u2019s Nantucket-set The Perfect Couple<\/em>, but it\u2019s also pushing into darker detective stories and international series, including Norway\u2019s Jo Nesb\u00f8\u2019s Detective Hole<\/em>. That one made Netflix\u2019s US top 10 after its March 2026 debut<\/strong> and picked up a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

If Netflix is where you go for mystery binges, these miniseries are worth a look. Harlan Coben\u2019s 14-book deal is still paying off, with I Will Find You<\/em> crossing 85 million views<\/strong> and sitting on top of Netflix\u2019s charts for a month in 2026. At this point, mystery miniseries have become a core Netflix format, even if the lineup could still use more variety beyond Anglo-American and Nordic titles.<\/p>\n\n
