Jason Aaron is writing it, and Aaron Kuder is on art.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The story is set after <em>Raiders of the Lost Ark<\/em>. Marvel says Indy teams up with Marion Ravenwood to chase the biblical Sword of Pandemonium while facing an enemy from his past. That <strong>timing matters<\/strong>. It keeps the series anchored in the version of these characters most people already know, gives you familiar faces and real stakes, and sidesteps some of the continuity mess that can come with trying to extend the later films. It also gives Lucasfilm a way to tell new stories from Indiana Jones&#8217;s prime without needing Harrison Ford to return on screen.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you&#8217;ve been hoping Indiana Jones would get the same kind of <strong>big Marvel treatment<\/strong> that <em>Star Wars<\/em> has had, this seems like one to pick up. Marvel is also going back to its 1980s run with two deluxe <em>The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones<\/em> hardcovers, both scheduled for September 2026.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new miniseries arrives from Marvel in <strong>December 2026<\/strong>.
