When it&#8217;s folded, the shape is closer to a passport. Open it up, and it feels much more like a small tablet for messages, maps, email, reading, gaming, web browsing, and video.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Early reports out of South Korea suggest the standard Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is <strong>outselling<\/strong> the more traditional Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra in pre-orders. That&#8217;s true even though Samsung reportedly gave more stock to the standard model from the start, and several reviewers say the wider design gets more convincing the longer they use it.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want a foldable phone that feels less cramped on the front screen and more practical once it&#8217;s open, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is one to keep an <strong>eye on<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are still trade-offs.
