Google&#8217;s virtual assistant service has shown up in the source code for Chrome OS and the <a title=\"windows chrome beta\" href=\"http:\/\/google-chrome-beta.en.softonic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chrome beta<\/a> for Windows.<\/p>\n<p>Fran\u00e7ois Beaufort, a Chromium developer, found the code but it currently doesn&#8217;t work yet. Google Now relies on a server to gather information and the code purposely omits the server address. While it&#8217;s non-functional, having the code there means that Google is readying to bring the feature to the Chrome browser and operating system.
