One is a chart-topping mobile puzzle hit, the other a much quieter indie release. That pairing tracks with the kind of lineup Apple has been building lately, casual games you can pick up for a few minutes at a time, still under Apple Arcade’s usual promise of no ads and no in-app purchases.

Block Blast!+, from Hungry Studio, brings one of the App Store’s familiar success stories into Apple Arcade in a version with the ads and microtransactions stripped out. Art of Fauna: Cozy Puzzles+, from Klemens Strasser, goes in a different direction. Apple describes it as a relaxing jigsaw-style game built around animals, nature, and conservation, and has also pointed to its 2025 App Store Award win for Cultural Impact.

Put together, the two additions say a lot about how Apple handles Arcade. The service leans on broad mobile appeal, but it also makes room for distinctive indie games, rather than chasing larger console-style exclusives. Apple also keeps cycling new releases across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, with recent arrivals including Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition and Retro Bowl College+, according to the company.

If puzzle games are the main reason you use Apple Arcade, this is the kind of update you’ll probably want to check out. Apple still doesn’t share subscriber numbers, older analyst forecasts that put the service at 70 million subscribers by 2025 still haven’t been confirmed, and Arcade sits inside Apple’s broader Services business, which brought in $30.01 billion in fiscal Q1 2026, according to the company’s earnings report.

Both games arrive on Apple Arcade on September 3. The service costs $6.99 a month in the U.S. and includes access to more than 200 games, Apple says.

Apple says Apple Arcade will add two more games on September 3: Block Blast!+ and Art of Fauna: Cozy Puzzles+.
