Production is set to begin in summer 2026.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Created by John Griffin, From premiered in <strong>February 2022<\/strong> and now has four seasons under its belt. It\u2019s sitting at 96% on <a href=\"https:\/\/rotten-tomatoes.en.softonic.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Rotten Tomatoes<\/a>, and it\u2019s become one of TV\u2019s strongest slow-burn horror series without leaning on the built-in name recognition of something like <a href=\"https:\/\/resident-evil-4.en.softonic.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Resident Evil<\/a> or Silent Hill.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The premise is simple in the <strong>worst possible way<\/strong>: a group of residents is stuck in a small American town they can\u2019t leave, and every night creatures come out of the surrounding forest. That puts the pressure on defenses, safe places, and the day-to-day effort of holding onto hope, which gives the show a survival streak that feels very much in the Resident Evil lane.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Silent Hill comparison fits too. The unease, the hallucinations, the warped sense of reality, the feeling that the town itself is twisting people\u2019s fear, all of that is right there in From. Critics have also praised the atmosphere, the patience, the trauma and despair running through the story, and the fragile cooperation inside the town\u2019s closed-off community. Its layered mysteries and ensemble storytelling invite <a href=\"https:\/\/lost.en.softonic.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Lost<\/a> comparisons, while the way constant danger reshapes people feels closer to <a href=\"https:\/\/the-walking-dead.en.softonic.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">The Walking Dead<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you like <strong>survival tension<\/strong>, psychological dread, and a mystery that spreads across a whole community, From is easy to get into.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can catch up on all four seasons on MGM+, and at least now you know the story is moving toward an ending the creators have planned.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MGM+ has renewed From for a fifth season, and that will be the last one.
