As reported by 9to5Mac, Apple explains that the initial indexing can require anywhere from hours to several days, depending on the information stored. Since the entire catalog stays private on your device<\/strong> at all times to protect your privacy, the work of downloading and reviewing takes much longer than if it were done on a cloud server where the data is already stored and processing power is greater.<\/p>\n\n
