Even so, the renewal talk is already getting pretty <strong>loud<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aaron Pierre has said the cast is \u201cat peace\u201d if John Stewart\u2019s story ends with one season. Kyle Chandler, though, says he\u2019s <strong>very optimistic<\/strong>, and reports say a writers\u2019 room is already working through ideas for more episodes.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the <strong>headline projects<\/strong> in DC Studios\u2019 Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters, the eight-episode HBO crime drama follows Hal Jordan and John Stewart from a murder investigation on Earth into a much larger mystery connected to the DCU.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lanterns comes from Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King. Lindelof has also said there\u2019s \u201ca lot of runway\u201d for <strong>future seasons<\/strong>, and Nathan Fillion\u2019s Guy Gardner gives the series a direct link to Superman.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reports say Lanterns brought in <strong>9.3 million<\/strong> viewers in its first three days, which makes it the biggest DC Studios series premiere on <a href=\"https:\/\/hbo-max.en.softonic.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">HBO Max<\/a> so far. J.
