Meta says Muse Spark 1.3 can keep pace with Anthropic\u2019s Claude Fable 5.1, beat OpenAI\u2019s GPT-5.6 Sol on <strong>coding<\/strong>, and score a 62 on Artificial Analysis\u2019 Intelligence Index. By Artificial Analysis\u2019 ranking, that leaves it behind only Claude Fable 5.1 and Opus 5, while still ahead of current OpenAI models.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Meta, the biggest jump shows up in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/meta-launches-muse-code-coding-agent-now-on-macos-and-linux\" rel=\"noopener\">coding, agent-style tasks<\/a><\/strong>, long-context work, and jobs that span multiple workflows. The company also says the model is better at handling uncertainty and uses about 25% fewer tokens than Muse Spark 1.2.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the fourth Muse Spark release in five months. Pricing for developers isn\u2019t changing. Meta says some customers are already pushing <strong>trillions of tokens a week<\/strong>. The company still hasn\u2019t decided whether Muse Spark 1.3 weights will be released, though it says it still plans to release the weights for Muse Spark 1.2. The launch also lands as OpenAI gets <a href=\"https:\/\/astra-knights-of-veda.en.softonic.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Astra<\/a> ready and Meta aims for $125 billion to $145 billion in capital spending in 2026.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you build on Meta\u2019s API, this is an update to pay attention to.
