Rebel Wolves is already lining up a follow-up to The Blood of Dawnwalker<\/a>. The studio has put a sequel into early development and is starting to map out the next chapter of protagonist Coen\u2019s story.<\/p>\n

The biggest clue is a Lead Writer job opening at Rebel Wolves. Narrative Director Jakub Szama\u0142ek also said the team is \u201calready thinking about what comes next<\/strong>,\u201d which makes this sound like more than loose post-launch talk. There\u2019s still no title and no trailer, but the sequel has clearly made it onto the studio\u2019s active roadmap.<\/p>\n\n

That comes after a strong debut. The Blood of Dawnwalker<\/a> launched on September 3, 2026<\/strong> and, according to Rebel Wolves, sold more than 1 million copies in three days. On PC, SteamDB<\/a> lists a peak of 78,188 concurrent players. It also has a Very Positive user rating on Steam, along with review scores of 84 on Metacritic and 85 on OpenCritic, according to those platforms.<\/p>\n\n

If you liked the first game, this is something to keep an eye on. The Blood of Dawnwalker\u2019s modern-day ending tease leaves room for a big time jump, a wider use of Dawnwalker mythology, and player-choice carryover rather than just a direct continuation.<\/p>\n\n

Rebel Wolves says it was founded in 2022 by former CD Projekt RED developers, has grown to around 160 employees, and built its debut RPG in Unreal Engine 5<\/a>.
