Wind and Truth<\/a> already arrived on December 6, 2024<\/strong>. It closed the first arc of Sanderson\u2019s planned 10-book series, and on his current timeline, book six isn\u2019t expected before 2031.<\/p>\n\n

War for Roshar comes from Brotherwise Games and Dragonsteel, with John D. Clair as designer. It\u2019s an asymmetric strategy game<\/strong> built around the Coalition of Honor and Odium, with leaders such as Dalinar, Kaladin, Raboniel, and Taravangian. Matches last eight rounds and support 1v1, 3v1, and 2v2 play. Highstorms and Everstorms are part of it, along with armies, Oathgates, neutral nations, upgrades, cards, and side objectives, according to Brotherwise Games and Dragonsteel.<\/p>\n\n

For anyone wanting more Roshar before the next novel shows up, this is the release to keep an eye on<\/strong>. Sanderson is turning toward Mistborn and Elantris projects in the meantime, and the Cosmere\u2019s tabletop side keeps growing too, including the 2025 roleplaying game material.<\/p>\n\n

Kickstarter backers will be able to pledge for the base game, deluxe components, the Champions mini-expansion, and Stormlight and Mistborn miniatures. Brotherwise Games and Dragonsteel say fulfillment is planned for 2027<\/strong>, with a retail release expected for the 2027 holiday season.<\/p>\n
