Pearl Abyss has rolled out Crimson Desert<\/a> update 2.02.00<\/strong> on PC and macOS. The big fix here is for a startup crash on PC tied to NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation<\/a>. Beyond that, the patch includes smaller changes to quests, the UI, and localization, with better Arabic text support among them. The macOS version also gets cross-save, which makes syncing progress between macOS and PC much easier.<\/p>\n

It arrives while Pearl Abyss keeps shipping regular post-launch patches aimed at performance, controls, and difficulty ahead of the paid Charting the Unknown<\/em> expansion, which is set for October 15, 2026.<\/p>\n\n

Crimson Desert has sold millions of copies<\/strong>, according to Pearl Abyss, and it still appears to have a fairly large active player base. That makes this feel like more than standard maintenance. Pearl Abyss is clearly trying to keep the base game stable and polished before a new wave of players comes in.<\/p>\n\n
