Blizzard\u2019s updated Diablo roadmap puts Diablo V in spring 2029<\/strong>, and it looks like Diablo IV<\/a> won\u2019t get any more full expansions after Lord of Hatred<\/a>. That doesn\u2019t mean support is drying up. Diablo IV is still set for a long run of seasonal updates, with new story beats, gameplay changes, and even new classes coming in place of another boxed expansion.<\/p>\n\n

If you were expecting Blizzard to keep rolling out big expansions on a slower schedule, this is the change. Diablo IV is being pushed further into a live-service setup<\/strong>, and director Brent Gibson says the Story of Hatred hit a solid endpoint with Mephisto. That gives the team room to keep building seasonal content while more of the focus shifts over to Diablo V.<\/p>\n

Blizzard\u2019s roadmap places Diablo V about 100 years<\/strong> after Diablo IV, so the next stretch of seasons will likely serve as the bridge from the Story of Hatred into a Story of Terror. The same roadmap says players can still look forward to a standalone Amazon class in the first half of 2027, along with a 30th anniversary seasonal update that includes Season of Hell\u2019s Legacy.<\/p>\n\n

Diablo IV is also now available on Nintendo Switch 2<\/a><\/strong>, and players can pick up the current Age of Hatred Collection<\/a>, which includes the Vessels of Hatred and Lord of Hatred expansions.<\/p>\n
