Writing on <a href=\"https:\/\/threads-of-time.en.softonic.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Threads<\/a>, he said the 2027 <em>Superman<\/em> sequel is really \u201ca movie about Lex and Clark,\u201d not a vehicle for packing in lots of other characters or springing huge secret cameos.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2mdiTxx5MK0\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also said plenty of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.softonic.com\/articles\/james-gunn-disappoints-fans-with-his-response-to-the-rumors-about-the-dcu\" rel=\"noopener\">the rumors floating around<\/a> are \u201c<strong>dead wrong<\/strong>.\u201d Other DCU characters could still turn up, but they\u2019re not expected to take over the movie or pull focus from the personal and ideological fight between Clark Kent\/Superman and Lex Luthor. At the same time, reports still point to <strong>Brainiac<\/strong> , reportedly played by Lars Eidinger, as the movie\u2019s main outside threat, not some last-second cameo tossed in for shock value.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019ve been keeping up with the nonstop theory factory, that\u2019s probably the part to <strong>hold onto<\/strong>.
