Warner Bros. has announced the Middle-earth: Shadow Bundle for Nintendo Switch 2. It brings Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition and Middle-earth: Shadow of War Definitive Edition to the system on September 30.

That means both full games are included, along with all previously released DLC: extra missions, skins, challenge content, and story add-ons. Warner Bros. also says you’ll be able to buy Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of War on their own if you don’t want the full bundle.

If you’ve mostly heard people talk about Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War over the years but never got around to playing them, this is a pretty big release. It’s the first time either game has officially landed on a Nintendo platform, and it finally puts the Nemesis System on Nintendo hardware. Orcs remember previous encounters, rise through the ranks, and turn what should’ve been a throwaway fight into a grudge match that follows you around.

Aspyr is handling the port, which should give players some confidence given its track record with older releases. Still, Warner Bros. hasn’t said anything yet about resolution, frame rate, or other performance targets. The timing also hangs over the announcement a bit, since Warner Bros. shut down Monolith Productions in February 2025, leaving both the future of the series and the company’s Nemesis System patent in a murky spot.

The bundle will cost $69.99 on Nintendo Switch 2, and there’s a 50% pre-order discount available before launch.
