From the Gemini side panel or the bottom bar, you can type \u201c@\u201d and pick a Google NotebookLM notebook. It also fits Google\u2019s larger Workspace push across <a href=\"https:\/\/gmail-notifier.en.softonic.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Gmail<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sheets.en.softonic.com\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Sheets<\/a>, Slides, and Drive. That push is landing as generative AI use keeps spreading, even if the results still look mixed. Recent research found that 47% of U.S. employees were working at organizations using these tools by Q2 2026, while 89% of managers said they hadn\u2019t seen a productivity bump. Google is also trying to hold its ground against Microsoft Copilot and Anthropic in enterprise software.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you already use Google NotebookLM to collect research, this looks more useful than flashy. Being able to pull that material straight into a draft is the kind of feature people actually use.
