Embark Studios says ARC Raiders<\/a> gets its Frozen Trail update on October 8<\/strong>, and with it comes what the studio is framing as a big 2.0 moment: Raider Decks are out, replaced by a new 60-level Reward Pass system.<\/p>\n

On the free track, players can unlock base outfits, cosmetics, weapons, and gadgets. The premium track costs 1,150 Raider Tokens<\/strong>, adds cosmetic-only rewards, and refunds the full cost if you finish it.<\/p>\n\n

Embark says Raider Decks made it too easy to stockpile Cred and burn through unlocks, which left progression feeling flatter over time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The new Reward Passes also won’t expire. Frozen Trail includes a free Legacy Reward Pass<\/strong> too, bringing back cosmetics and Raider Tokens from earlier Raider Decks.<\/p>\n\n

There\u2019s more in the update than progression changes. Frozen Trail also adds the Pendola Pass map, new enemy types, and a temporary PvE matchmaking mode<\/a><\/strong>. At the same time, Embark is moving away from monthly patches and shifting to fewer, larger biannual updates, partly to cut down on burnout and partly because players were clearing content faster than the studio expected.<\/p>\n\n

If you play ARC Raiders regularly, this looks worth picking up<\/strong> for the progression overhaul alone.<\/p>\n
