Tesla has quietly refreshed the Model 3 in the US, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Tesla\u2019s North American configurator now shows a 16-inch center display<\/strong> on every trim, and the higher-end versions get a little more punch without any price increase.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re shopping in the US, Puerto Rico, or Mexico, every Model 3 on Tesla\u2019s North American configurator now has the 16-inch screen<\/strong>, replacing the old 15.4-inch panel, while the base RWD still starts at $36,990. Tesla China\u2019s configurator<\/a> picked up the same screen a day earlier, which lines up with Tesla\u2019s usual staggered rollout between Fremont and Shanghai. The bigger changes are higher up the range. The Model 3 Performance now makes 528 hp instead of 510, EPA range climbs to 316 miles from 309, 0 to 60 mph stays at 2.9 seconds, and it also gets a black headliner. The Model 3 Premium AWD, meanwhile, cuts its 0 to 60 time from 4.2 seconds to 3.8 seconds and keeps its 346-mile range.<\/p>\n\n

If you\u2019re buying new, this is the version you\u2019d want to order. Tesla\u2019s North American configurator still lists the same prices: $36,990 for RWD, $42,490 for Premium RWD, $47,490 for Premium AWD, and $54,990 for Performance. Tesla still hasn\u2019t said exactly where all the improvements come from<\/strong>, whether any of them carry over to older cars, or why North America is still missing China\u2019s 2.2 kW V2L and light gray interior, along with Canada\u2019s 16-inch-screen update.<\/p>\n\n
