See ran for three seasons and never won critics over in a big way, ending up with a 44% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Viewers were warmer on it, though. The audience score sits at 83%, and that gap goes a long way toward explaining why people are still finding the show.

This comeback doesn’t appear to be coming from the U.S. Top 10 has reportedly reached the top 10 in more than 45 countries, including the Philippines, Thailand, and Brazil, while staying off the major U.S. charts. Apple TV+’s expansion into 50-plus additional countries probably helped. So did Momoa showing up on the service again in Chief of War.

For Apple TV+, that kind of rebound matters. It suggests older catalog can still do real work for a smaller streamer, pulling attention back to originals that seemed finished and giving them a longer shelf life. It also strengthens the sci-fi identity Apple started building early with See and For All Mankind, the latter of which is expected to wrap with its sixth season.

If you keep up with Apple TV+ sci-fi, See is an easy one to put on your watchlist right now.

        JustWatch
        Download

        <text class="rating-score__number" content="" text-anchor="middle" transform="matrix(1 0 0 1 25 31.0837)" data-auto="app-user-score"></text>

Jason Momoa’s See has popped back into Apple TV+’s global top 10 this week.
