Microsoft has updated Outlook<\/a> on iOS and Android to restore Send Availability for mobile meeting scheduling. The company says the feature is now live worldwide<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You can once again share open meeting times without leaving your reply. Tap the calendar icon, choose Send Availability, check your schedule inside Outlook, select one or more free time slots<\/strong> across multiple days, and drop them directly into the email. There\u2019s no admin setup, and users don\u2019t have to turn anything on. Microsoft also says iPhone users can get to it through the on-screen keyboard and with VoiceOver , which should make it easier to use for accessibility.<\/p>\n\n

If you schedule meetings from your phone, this is a useful update to install, especially because Microsoft pulled Send Availability in July 2026<\/strong> as part of a push to simplify mobile email. That change got plenty of backlash from executive assistants, sales teams, and other people who live in Outlook all day booking meetings.<\/p>\n\n

Its return in October 2026<\/strong> looks like a pretty clear response to that criticism. It also helps Outlook stay competitive with the tighter email-and-calendar tie-ins people already get elsewhere, Gmail<\/a> included.<\/p>\n\n

It\u2019s available now in Outlook for iOS and Android worldwide.<\/p>\n
