Master Replicas has revealed the Battlestar Galactica (Classic) Prometheus Limited Edition, set for October 2026. It’s an officially licensed 10.5-inch model drawn from the 1978 series and built around the battlestar Prometheus, a ship that was part of the lore but never actually made it onto the screen.

Only 500 are being made. The model uses die-cast metal and ABS, and Master Replicas is framing it as a way to give physical form to a piece of Colonial Fleet history that fans had mostly known through rumor and background mythology. In that sense, Prometheus sits alongside names like Cerberus and Solaria from the original canon.

Master Replicas says the Prometheus is due to ship in October 2026, and it fits into the company’s larger Battlestar Galactica run stretching across 2026 and 2027. That lineup has already included Galactica, Pegasus, Viper Mk 7, the Blood and Chrome Viper, the Blood and Chrome Cylon Raider, and Muffit II.

For anyone whose heart is still with classic Galactica, this feels like an easy one to put on the list, especially now that the Peacock reboot once associated with Sam Esmail was scrapped in July 2024. The franchise is still out there, just in a different form: collectibles, conventions, Fantasy Flight Games’ 2008 board game, and Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes.

You can order the Battlestar Galactica (Classic) Prometheus Limited Edition from Master Replicas for October 2026 delivery. The company has also named Cerberus as another limited battlestar release it plans to do.
