Ubisoft says Riders Republic<\/a> is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on 9 December 2026<\/strong>. It\u2019s the first time the extreme sports game will be available on a Nintendo system. The same update also adds a new offline Nomad mode on every platform. In Nomad, players can keep moving through careers, roam the open world, and unlock landmarks without needing an internet connection. The shop, seasonal content, and multiplayer events still require you to be online.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re in for Riders Republic\u2019s particular brand of chaos, mountain biking, BMX, skateboarding, snowboarding, scooters, wingsuit racing, plus those 50-player PvP races<\/strong>, the Switch 2 version has a pretty obvious appeal.<\/p>\n\n

The game originally came out in 2021<\/strong> and has passed 17 million players, according to Ubisoft. The offline option feels especially well suited to portable play, though Ubisoft still hasn\u2019t said anything about resolution, frame rate, or how the game differs in handheld and docked mode.<\/p>\n\n

Riders Republic hits Nintendo Switch 2 on 9 December 2026<\/strong>, and Nomad mode lands that same day across every platform.<\/p>\n\n

Ubisoft is also using the release to mark the game\u2019s fifth anniversary, with a free-to-play weekend<\/a><\/strong> scheduled for 22 to 26 October 2026, along with extra anniversary content in-game.<\/p>\n
