Marvel Zombies: War Zone #3, a limited-series issue from Marvel Comics due in November 2026, throws Daredevil and Bullseye into an unholy alliance. The series kicked off in September 2026 from writer Tom Waltz and artist Jaime Infante, and Marvel Zombies: War Zone drops readers onto Earth-4775, where a zombie outbreak has torn Manhattan apart and sealed it off while the Punisher fights through the wreckage as the central lead.

Issue #3 adds a particularly gruesome turn: zombified versions of Matt Murdock and Bullseye working together. In a book overrun by the undead, it somehow fits. Still, it’s hard not to do a double take.

Bullseye, who first appeared in Daredevil #131 back in 1976, has spent decades making Matt Murdock’s life hell. He’s also responsible for the deaths of Elektra Natchios and Karen Page, so even with Marvel’s occasional forced truces, and with Daredevil: Born Again only teasing the idea of cooperation under extreme pressure, this kind of team-up still feels deeply strange and more than a little disturbing.

If you keep up with Daredevil or Marvel Zombies, this one’s probably worth picking up, especially with Marvel pushing the brand further through three new Disney+ animated specials set to begin in 2027. That makes Marvel Zombies: War Zone one of the oddest books on Marvel’s 2026 slate.

Marvel Zombies: War Zone #3 arrives from Marvel Comics in November 2026.
